I started Change Today, Change Tomorrow while I was living in the back of my homegirl's house with my one-year old on my hip. I went to Google and searched, "start a nonprofit in Kentucky" and up popped Harbor Compliance's website with this list. I adapted this list to make it even easier for YOU.
 
So many people have told me they have paid other people thousands of dollars to start their nonprofit, when it costs less than $500 to get you started legally. You do not need a lawyer to start your nonprofit. I did it all by myself, and you can too.
 
I would rather you give me $20 to walk you through the process on this checklist than pay someone thousands of dollars and never receive your determination letter.
